The 16th of January of 2010, the TV show Conecta-T played a report about the Extremadurathome.org project. In this report, the TV show interviewed three of the members of the project: Fernanda Jaramillo, director of the Consorcio IdenTIC, Francisco Fernández de Vega, director of the project and Daniel Lombraña González, engineer of the project. BOINC pills run out!!

It has been amazing the interest showed about BOINC pills by volunteers, that we have given all of them.

These pills have been distributed among the audience of the Volunteer Computing Workshop in the Free Software World Conference held in Cáceres, Spain and the volunteers that have requested them by e-mail. Thanks to this pills, all the owners will be able to collaborate with BOINC projects from any computer which has a connection to Internet, using their Extremadurathome username and password.

With the addition of new BOINC projects to the poll, all the scores of the previous projects have been reset to have a fair poll.Thus, vote for those projects that you like most.

The projects Ibercivis and Rosetta@home have been the most voted ones from this last month. For this reason, since today 5th of November of 2009, all the Extremadurathome volunteers collaborate with those projects, except for Rosetta@home which has not an updated version that supports Extremadurathome. Thus, instead of Rosetta@home we have changed it by the third most voted project: Climateprediction.

Extremadurathome presents in the 5th international BOINC worksop the BOINC pills
